Over the last three years, the Ashland School District’s teachers, administrators and school board members have worked together to design a teacher evaluation and professional growth system that complies with SB 290 and reflects the district’s commitment to teacher effectiveness. We will discuss how teacher leaders have supported goal-setting for student and professional learning; and supported assessment, evidence collection and data analysis. Workshop attendees will gain a deeper understanding of new evaluation requirements and effective strategies for districtwide collaboration.
