This presentation will describe how a small team of K-8 literacy leaders approached improving their district’s literacy system. The lead team began developing a plan that would become a shared framework to give schools a base for continuity, leadership, and continuous professional development. With a goal of improving literacy achievement for all students, they encouraged leadership and voice from within to make a difference.
